Frequently Asked Questions
What concentrates can I use with this eRig?
This eRig works with all types of cannabis concentrates including wax, shatter, rosin, live resin, budder, and diamonds. For rosin, start at lower temperatures (380-420°F) to preserve terpenes. For wax and shatter, 420-500°F works well.
How do I clean and maintain this device?
After every session, wipe the crucible with a dry Q-tip while it’s still warm. Every 2-3 weeks, do a burn-off cleaning cycle at 38 watts with the unit held upside down for 2-3 minutes to carbonize residue. Let it cool completely and wipe with a dry Q-tip. Never use alcohol on the coils or lead wires.
How long does the heater last?
With proper maintenance — daily Q-tip wipes and burn-off cleaning every few weeks — a single heater can last 6 to 12 months of daily use. Replacement ceramic cups are $10 and the device is fully rebuildable.
Is this device rebuildable?
Yes. Every component is user-replaceable — heater cups, coils, glass tops, O-rings, and slides. You replace individual parts instead of buying a whole new device. That’s what rebuildable means.
What temperature should I use for concentrates?
Start low and work up. For rosin and live resin, begin around 380°F. For wax and budder, try 420-480°F. For shatter, 460-520°F works well. Temperature control gives you consistent results every session.
