What Is the Thunder Cap?
The Thunder Cap is a silicone tether with a cap that keeps the top of your Lightning Pen closed between uses. This allows for better pocket storage by preventing lint or keys from entering the top while in your pocket. The silicone covering also helps when you need to remove the top while it is hot. You will receive two Thunder Caps with this purchase.

Lightning Pen Usage and Cleaning Tips

Take immediate caution: The ceramic heater cup can reach up to 600F and can cause serious burns. Please exercise caution when handling the unit. The heater is replaceable and can be rebuilt; there is no need to discard the whole pen if the heater breaks. Designed with eco-friendly concepts in mind.

Cleaning Q-tip after each session. Loosen heater wire lead screws, lift heater cup from base GENTLY. Do not use force. Do not torch clean ceramic heater or metal base. |
| Burn-Off Cleaning The highest heat setting when fully charged can burn off residue. Hold pen upside down. Use three 15-second intervals with cooling between. |
Controls 5 clicks: Power On/Off. 3 clicks: Cycle heat settings. 2 clicks: 15-sec autofire. Allow cool-down between sessions. |
As the 900mAh battery gets low, you may need to go up in temp to maintain the same results.
