The cable is robust and doesn’t feel cheap. The 30 cm cable raises resistance by .022 ohms. I currently use it with my stempod and water piece. If you’re on the fence about buying one, it’s worth it.

Works very well, I sometimes have to twist the V5 to get it to properly read room temperature. If there is a new design I would suggest making both parts breakaway. I only have one V5 setup and I like using it portable and the switching over process can take a while
