Crossing 3D XL Joystick Heater Repair Kit
If your joystick atomizer has stopped reading, or it throws a no atomizer warning after a
cleaning, the heater is almost always the reason. The leads shorten and stop making solid
contact, and no amount of fiddling brings that back. A fresh heater with full length leads
makes it read right again.
Two options
Full Repair Kit, $20. One ceramic heater with full length leads, the
ceramic cup, two silicone gaskets, two ceramic insulators, and two brass pins. That is every
wear part in the atomizer, so you are not hunting for anything else once it arrives.
Long Heater Only, $10. Just the ceramic heater with the long leads, for
when the rest of your atomizer is still in good shape and the heater is the only thing that
quit.
What it fits
The Crossing 3D XL joystick atomizer, the ceramic bottom and side heated bowl that runs on
the Core 2.0, the Core XL and the TUG. The joystick atomizer is potted in silicone, so there
is nothing inside it to rebuild by hand. These are the repair.
Before you order
If you are getting a no atomizer warning, check the brass pin in the atomizer base first.
If it sits a hair too short it will not keep the device’s 510 pin depressed, and that looks
exactly like a dead heater. Pull the pin out about a millimetre and try it before you replace
anything.
Shipping is free, and the code thankyou10 takes 10% off at checkout.
Running a Core XL and want something you can rebuild yourself instead? Take a look at the
XL
Rebuildable Heater Coil, where you swap a worn cup instead of the whole atomizer.
