Frequently Asked Questions
What mod or battery do I need?
We recommend the Pico Plus with autofire firmware — it handles wattage mode, temperature control (TCR), and can autofire so you don’t have to hold the button. Any 510-threaded mod that supports TC mode works, but the Pico Plus is purpose-built for this heater.
How do I set up temperature control?
Set your mod to TCR mode with the appropriate value for your wire type. The V5 uses specific TCR values documented in the included instructions. Temperature control prevents the heater from exceeding your set temp, giving you consistent flavor every session.
How long does a heater cup last?
With daily Q-tip wipes after each session and burn-off cleaning every 2-3 weeks at 38 watts, a single ceramic cup lasts 6 to 12 months of daily use. Replacement cups are $10.
Can I use this with a bottomless banger and water pipe?
Yes. The bottomless banger replaces the top cap and sits the heater directly over a glass water pipe. This gives you water-filtered vapor with precise electronic temperature control — no torch needed.
What’s the difference between the V5 and V4?
The V5 is the latest generation with improved airflow, easier rebuilding, and better heat distribution. It accepts SiC inserts for even better flavor. The V5 is the recommended choice for new users.

I prefer the titanium cup vs the quartz. It seems to work better for me!

Works great, waiting for the restock so I can stock up on a good 6 of them for use of my v4 for years to come!

I prefer these over the quartz, you get faster heat up times, quick cleanup and no cotter pin. I can’t wait to try the SiC but for now I am loving the titanium buckets.

Pretty insane value considering this is only 10 bucks and the rest of my atomizer is in A+ condition after owning the V4 well over a year. Interested in the SiC but for now the Ti works wonders for me. 10/10

These hit like a train and last forever. A+
