Handle it right, it will last
Taking the device off
Hold the base of the banger walls and the metal base of the heater, then pull the banger off vertically with a small twist. Never at an angle, that is what cracks the walls.
Do not hold the banger by the stem. Always hold it by the bowl.
Set yourself up
Run a bottomless on a flat wide table with a dab mat and room to work. There are a lot of moving pieces in a bottomless setup. Keep the o-rings tight, a loose fit is where the trouble starts.
