eNails

An eNail replaces the torch. A coil wraps around your banger, terp slurper or ball vape, a controller holds the temperature to within a degree, and you dab at the same heat every time without guessing and without a flame in your hand.
We have been building these since 2016, and every coil here still works with every controller we have sold in that time. Controllers come as single channel for one coil or dual channel for running two independently, both with an LCD readout. Coils come as gooseneck flex coils in 30mm and 25mm ten wrap, a 25mm six wrap that is the standard for Ruby Twist heaters, and corded coils in 30mm and 25mm if you would rather have a fixed lead.
On the glass side you will find tower style terp slurpers with the pillar and marble included, in 25mm or 30mm bases with 45 or 90 degree stems in 10mm and 14mm, plus 20mm and 30mm quartz bangers, bottomless bangers, silicon carbide inserts, and vortex, disc and bubble carb caps to finish the setup.
If you already own a controller you only need the coil and the glass. If you are starting from nothing, a controller, a coil and a banger or slurper is the whole kit.

Which controller. The full size PID is the one most people run for concentrates. It holds your temperature until you switch it off, and it is the one you can calibrate if the reading drifts. The smaller controller that ships with the Ruby Twist has an auto shut off timer instead, so it turns itself off if you walk away.
What to expect when you switch it on. From cold, give it about four minutes. It will climb roughly 100 degrees past your set point and then settle back down to where you put it. That overshoot is normal and it is not a fault.
What temperature. For concentrates most people run somewhere between 420 and 520. For dry herb it goes much lower, down around 380 to 390. There is no single correct number, so start low and move up in small steps.
One thing worth knowing. These controllers can read hot. Matt’s own displayed 615 when the glass was closer to 550. That is why comparing your number against someone else’s number on a different brand will drive you crazy. The full size controller can be corrected, and the walkthrough is on the controller page.
A note on names. Gooseneck flex coils are also called axial coils, because the wire wraps around your glass in a helix instead of sitting flat underneath it. If you have been searching for an axial eNail coil, that is what these are.
